Where to Find EV Charging Stations in Downtown Los Angeles

The good news is that local EV charging stations are not hard to find. There are an array of electric vehicle charging stations across downtown Los Angeles in convenient locations where you can plug in your electric vehicle or a new Toyota bZ4X. Common Types of EV Charging Stations in DTLA

There are two main types of electric vehicle charging stations which are Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations. Level 3 is rapid DC charging and represents the fastest electric vehicle charging available. You will want to make sure that your vehicle is compatible with rapid DC charging before plugging it in to a Level 3 charger. Here are the charging times for each:
Level 2 (240 V) – 18-30 miles per hour
Level 3 (Rapid DC) – 80% or more in about half an hour
Affiliated costs and other parameters/restrictions may vary depending on the charging station.
