The All-New 2018 Toyota C-HR is Awesome, and It’s Now Available

2018 Toyota C-HR

Every so often, a new vehicle comes along that breaks through the norm. It crosses the boundaries of tradition and design and blazes a path that only a few are brave enough to follow. The all-new 2018 Toyota C-HR is one of those innovators. With bold, striking design features and futuristic innovations that are sure to be noticed.

All New for 2018

Revolutionary Looks

Toyota’s newest addition is the Coupe High-Rider, better known as the C-HR. It’s a clever take on the compact crossover SUV, combining SUV styling with the best features you’ll find in the Toyota compact car lineup.

The initial impression the 2018 Toyota C-HR may give is whimsy, but there’s more to it than that. Though it may appear to have the design of a two-door coupe, there are four full doors and a liftgate. Its chunky front end has focused lines, drawing attention to its upward-turned headlights and deeply-inset curves.

At the back, the 2018 C-HR keeps your gaze until it disappears from view. There’s texture and depth everywhere, all done in an attractive and futuristic mode. The V-shaped taillights flare out from the body. Its top-mounted spoiler is a stylish splash. And like the front, there are curves everywhere.

The Perfectly Efficient Powertrain

Under the hood, the 2018 Toyota C-HR is perfectly developed for the compact crossover SUV market. Its 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine has 144 horsepower and 139 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s paired with a front-wheel drive CVTi-S transmission that you’re sure to love. The C-HR is extremely fun to drive with smooth, peppy acceleration. From the driver’s seat, the CVT can be controlled like a clutchless standard transmission, offering a more in-touch experience behind the wheel.

The 2018 Toyota C-HR hits on one of the key points in the market: fuel efficiency. With its 2.0-liter engine and perfectly-paired CVT transmission, the C-HR achieves an EPA-rated 27 miles per gallon in the city and 31 miles per gallon on the highway.
